01-5103-60 - Linen Herringbone Fatigue Pants - Summer Fit - Sumi Dyed

Any variation on the Fatigue is a welcome variation to us. We were drawn to this fabric for its Summer weight, but we came back for the texture. The linen has this dry, crunchy feel that starts to show shape within minutes of wear. We are obsessed with not only the strength but the utility of linen. Add herringbone to that and this has to be an instant wardrobe consideration. They've also introduced a summer fit meant to be more roomy and flowy than your standard fatigue. They topped the whole thing off by garment dyeing the pants with Sumi Ink - the stuff used for Japanese calligraphy. The way linen takes this dye is different than almost any other fabric. It has a faded charcoal look that is a bit splotchy - giving it an already lived-in look we're in love with. They've kept some of the signature fatigue details including the waist adjustment and patch-style pockets, but, in our opinion, these feel completely different than the usual fatigues.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a size (3) in the pictures. This round, he decided to wear a (3) in every pant. He's finding that he feels more comfortable in the waist and loves the extra room in the leg in this size. This Summer Fit has more room, so the best thing you can do is get the waist correct and go from there. Tommy is 5'10," 163lbs with between a 32-33" waist.
